Bookkeeping Technician
Maison Samie is looking for a qualified bookkeeping professional to ensure the updating and monitoring of its accounting.
The mandate includes an initial phase of accounting catch-up, followed by periodic interventions as needed by the company.
Main responsibilities
Updating the company's accounting
Recording and categorization of income and expenses.
Bank reconciliations and transaction verification.
Organization and monitoring of accounting documents.
Verification and accounting of transactions carried out by payment platforms.
Preparation of financial reports and maintenance of up-to-date accounting records.
Desired profile
Mandatory training in bookkeeping, accounting or related field.
Relevant professional experience in bookkeeping.
Good knowledge of Canadian tax rules, including GST, HST and QST, and their application in Ontario and Quebec.
Proficiency in accounting software (Wave, QuickBooks or equivalent).
Experience with Stripe and bank reconciliations is an asset.
Autonomy, rigor, organization and respect for confidentiality.
Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Terms
Self-employed worker
Work is entirely remote.
Independent service contract.
Initial mandate for accounting updates, followed by ad hoc interventions.
Variable number of hours depending on needs.
Fees to be agreed upon based on experience and scope of the mandate.
